季織亭 (Kioritei in Kyodo)

季織亭

While most tsukemen places in Tokyo go with a thick tonkotsu gyokai soup, Kioritei matches their thick noodles with a strong shoyu soup. A nice change from the norm.

The shop boasts an above average egg. You'll pay a premium, but these chickens are fed a diet of healthy microbes derived from mushrooms along with their standard feed.

Kind of lumpy.

Kind of delicious.

I've been away from America long enough to have forgotten the state of eggs there.

Can I recommend 'Harashou (はら匠)' while you are in the area? It's got my personal favorite tonkotsu ramen and would like to see how it compares according to a Ramen Guru :)
