みちしるべ (Michishirube in Niko-Tama)

麺屋 みちしるべ

Another day, another shop on the stamp rally!

This one is way out in Futakotamagawa, a mega-oshare (fancy in a rich sense of the word) part of Tokyo. This is where a lot of celebrities live apparently. There is a Banana Republic out here, which is on par with Gucci and Hermes in Japan.

Nestled past a lot of Italian bistros and hip dining bars, Michishirube seems a bit out of place. But a steady flow of working stiffs filled the seats at lunch, and it was easy to see that not everyone in Futakotamagawa (niko-tama to some) is in the same tax bracket.

The ramen was normal.
